Details

White colored crystalline solid. It could form pentahydrate. It is stable in air and could lose water in dry air. It is soluble in water, insoluble in ethanol. The theoretical selenium content is 45.7%.
 

Selenium is a important trace element , it can increase the egg, hatch and growth rate of birds; to livestock , it can increase the use rate of feedstuff and cure some disease, it also accelerate the growth of fish.
