Specifically, it stimulates syndecan-1 synthesis, a small proteoglycan of which the production diminishes with age, to reinforce epidermal cohesion; and improves the adhesion between epidermis and DEJ through the stimulation of collagen XVII synthesis. This leads to an improvement of skin appearance, radiance and firmness, as were shown in a clinical study. This material is preservative-free.
