The molecular formula of Tadafi (Tadalafil) is C22H19N3O4 with a molecular weight of 389.4, and has been widely used since 2003 to treat erectile dysfunction in men, and is known as Cialis. In 2008, Lilly sold the commercial expansion rights to PAH treatment to United Therapeutics. In June 2009, the FDA approved Tadana non-use in the United States for the treatment of pulmonary hypertension (PAH) patients, the trade name Addirca.
