What is Moxonidine Hcl 

Moxonidine Hcl is a novel central antihypertensive drug, which is a selective agonist with high affinity to imidazoline receptor.

1. When combined with beta blockers, a reduction in blood pressure occurs at first, followed by a stronger rebound.2. Combination with other antihypertensive drugs can enhance the antihypertensive effect of this product.
3. When combined with benzazoline, it can weaken the antihypertensive effect of the product.
4. When combined with alcohol, tranquilizer or anesthetic, it can enhance its antihypertensive effect.

1. Moxonidine Hcl is used as pharmaceutical raw material.
2. Moxonidine Hcl is a white powder, it's antihypertensive action has no obvious relationship with the binding of alpha 2 adrenergic receptor.
3. Pharmacological experiments on mice showed that this product can reduce the number of independent activities, synergize with pentobarbital to promote sleep in mice and inhibit the activity of central nervous system.
